One of Mason Rudolph's newest teammates was involved with him in New Steelers DT Larry Ogunjobi was signed by Pittsburgh this offseason, two seasons as a Brown and knocked him to the ground. While in a vacuum, that's just an ugly play, it came just after the Browns' Myles Garrett tried to club Rudolph with his own helmet.Garrett was suspended for the remainder of the season and later alleged Rudolph Luis Urias Jersey had called (Rudolph vehemently denies this), which prompted the incident. He also thanked the teammates -- who included Ogunjobi (who was suspended for one game) -- for backing him up on the play. "That's just water under the bridge. That was years ago. I don't have any hard feelings, I don't think he has any hard feelings. That was over the day it happened, for me at least."Rudolph, as of last year, about the incident and Ogunjobi has been kicked around the AFC North a bit. He spent last season with the Bengals on a one-year deal and will be on a one-year contract this season. As Rudolph tries to find his place on a Steelers roster that suddenly has a QB competition that doesn't involve him, Ogunjobi figures to be a key cog in the Joey Lucchesi Jersey Pittsburgh defense after logging a career-high seven sacks last year. |
